5. Slit Lamp Bio-microscopy

6. Tonometry

7. Fundus Examination

  • Direct ophthalmoscopy
  • Slit-lamp bio microscopy with fundus lenses (90D, 78D)
  • Handheld Fundus Camera

  • A- Scan: Measurement of axial length
  • Keratometry: Measurement of corneal curvature
  • Pachymetry: Corneal thickness (useful in glaucoma/refractive surgery)
  • Amsler grid: Central field screening (macular disease)
  • Contrast sensitivity: Pelli-Robson, VCTS
  • Electrophysiology: ERG, VEP

9. Contact Lens Evaluation

  • Tear film assessment (TBUT, Schirmer’s)
  • Trial lens fitting
  • Over-refraction

10. Low Vision Assessment (if required)

  • Trial of low vision devices (spectacle, handheld, stand, electronic)

11. Patient Counseling & Prescription
