About The University
Brainware University, Barasat, Kolkata, a part of a 34-year-old leading education group, Brainware of West Bengal, was established in 2016 as a UGC-recognised, private state university in West Bengal. The primary objective of this university is to contribute in nation-building through research, innovation, and quality education. With the mission “to make quality education affordable for students coming from all strata of the society as well as help them ease into successful careers of their choice” of our chancellor Mr. Phalguni Mookhopadhayay the brainchild of this University has started the journey of this university and accordingly offers over 55 Ph.D., PG, UG, Diploma and Skills programs to over 10,000 students on its state-of-the-art, sprawling, green, ragging-free campus.
About The Department
The Department of Allied Health Sciences under Brainware University started its journey on the year 2019 to fulfill the mission and vision of our honorable chancellor, Mr. Phalguni Mookhopadhayay. Brainware University is among the few universities that are providing quality allied health care education to produce qualified and competent Allied Health care professionals. Presently the department is offering seven under- graduate courses-Bachelor in Optometry, B. Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology, B. Sc in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, B. Sc in Physician Assistant, Bachelor in Physiotherapy, B. Sc in Critical Care Technology, B. Sc in Operation Theatre Technology and two diploma courses- Diploma in Medical Lab Technology Diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics). The department is also going to introduce Master in Medical Laboratory Technology course from the academic session 2023-2024. The department is deeply engaged in teaching students of different allied health sciences courses with practical hands-on training. This department has also extended facilities for research and development in various disciplines of Health Sciences to promote the knowledge level of recent development in this field.

- To help the PG and UG students of Allied Health Sciences to acquire the knowledge related to recent trends of research and advancement of technologies in their field to make their learning updated
- To facilitate the students to reproduce the updated knowledge of the concerned field which can be utilized in the upcoming future.
- To enhance the research aptitude of the final semester students and younger faculty members to instigate them in engaging in research work that can be used in the practical field
- To create an environment for the students and researchers for their experiment-based or research mind without which the concerned field can not grow.
- Secondary Objectives :
- To make this multidisciplinary approach be a part of the solution to address the barrier between the researchers of individual branch and different stakeholders like pharma companies, research bodies, public health depts etc. By working together with researchers, clinicians, epidemiologists, policymakers, funders, and others with a vested interest in the outcomes, health-related discoveries can be advanced and brought to fruition more efficiently..
- To prepare a platform for researchers from all backgrounds along with students in this field and many more areas, which will allow them to connect their research efforts to the very real needs that exist in clinical or practical settings.

Abstract Format
- Title Page: Title of Article, Author(s), Department(s), Institution (s), City, Sate, Country, Pin
- Abstract Page: Should be structured and Must be written in English, within 250 words using Times New Roman font, letter size 12,single spacing. Name of the presenting author should be underlined. The affiliation of author(s) must be given. The abstract should be typed using single paragraph which should contain the Backgrounds, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusion. There should be 4 to 6 key words following the abstract. There should be one line gap between each section.
