Brainware University Business Incubation Centre (BWU-BIC) is a business incubator established in 2020 as an initiative of Brainware University (BWU) and is supported by MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises - Govt. of India) to boost the innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem of New India. Ministry of MSME has recognized Brainware University as Host Institute (HI) to setup/establish Business lncubation (BI) to provide 'Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of MSMEs’.
The University provides a support of 3481 sq. ft. built-up area, computing facilities and varied equipment for business incubation.
Aim
- To promote & support entrepreneurial leadership of any individual and facilitate economic development and entrepreneurial activity amongst internal as well as external entrepreneurs
- To invite entrepreneurs to use BWU-BIC services so as to develop end products for commercialization.
- The incubation center will also support engagement with Enablers in expanding the business by supporting them in design, strategy and execution.
Mission
- To create awareness among students about the steps involved in developing an idea into a business opportunity which can help in development and growth of community.
- To identify potential entrepreneurs and provide the necessary support for incubation that could grow into a self-sustaining business enterprise.
Vision
- To help our student community in becoming self-reliant and provide economic support to community in the form of job creation.
- To provide an environment conducive to innovation and building of entrepreneurs.
