The healthcare system in the country remains incompetent to encounter the health needs and challenges of the population because of many related factors, most prominent among them being acute scarcity of skilled or trained manpower. Efficient and skilled manpower at all stages of the healthcare system is enormously crucial and need of the hour. Allied health professionals should be proficient in the delivery of health or related services, with proficiency in preventive, diagnostic, analytical, therapeutic and/or rehabilitative interventions.
With this perception, the Department of Allied Health Sciences has state of the art laboratory for the program Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT). The lab facilities at Brainware University for BMLT offers conceptualized research driven, modernized, automated cutting-edge technological tools through wide range of early diagnosis plethora, healthcare practices or treatment to endorse retrieval and monitoring advance quality of life.

Needle destroyer & Syringe cutter
Syringe & needle destroyer is an electrically operated equipment that helps to destroy/melt the needle and cuts the syringes immediately after use.

Phlebotomy is the process of making a puncture in a vein, usually in the arm, for the purpose of blood collection.
Electrolyte Analyzer
The electrolyte analyser is a device for measuring the electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and chloride in biological fluids.
Cell Counter
It’s an automated device that is used to determine the number and types of cells present in a whole blood sample.
Semi - Auto Analyzer
This is a compact, simple, reliable semi-automated biochemistry analyzer, capable to perform tests on whole blood, serum, plasma, CSF & urine as sample.
Colorimeter
A colorimeter is light-sensitive device used for measuring the transmittance & absorbance of light passing through a liquid sample.
Incubator
It’s a device that is used to grow and maintain microbiological cultures and cell cultures.
Hot Air Oven
It’s an electrical instrument which use dry heat to sterilize.
pH Meter
Potentiometric pH meters measure the voltage between two electrodes & display the result converted into the corresponding pH value.
Autoclave
Autoclaves operate at high temperature & pressure in order to kill microorganisms & spores.
Serological Bath
It’s a container filled with heated water that is used to incubate any kind of samples at a constant temperature for long periods.
