Bachelor of Optometry Laboratory
The program of Optometry, Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University is felicitated with highly experienced academic and clinical staff who create a distinctive learning environment.

Lensometer
It is used to assess the spectacle power, Decentration of the lenses and evaluation of prism present or not.
Retinoscope
It is used to assess the refractive error of the eye.
Keratometer
It is used to assess the corneal curvature, especially it helps evaluate any irregularity in cornea and helps for contact lens fitting.
Slit Lamp
It is used to assess the anterior segment of the eye and also with the help of accessory lenses the posterior segment can be assessed.
Trial Frame
It is use to hold the trial lenses.
Auto-Refractometer
It is a device which gives the value of refractive error digitally.
Vision-drum
It is use to check vision and is useful for binocular balancing.
Trial-box
It consists of loose lenses which helps in performing refraction, loose prism , Opaque Occluder, Pinhole, Red- green filter, Maddox Rod, stenopic slit.
