Finishing School in Biotechnology - The Next Steps

The Department of Biotechnology & Food and Nutrition organized a seminar on “Finishing School in Biotechnology - The Next Steps” on 3rd February 2023 (Monday). Mr. Sudipta Porel guided students about diverse avenues and motivated them to start their own ventures in the near future. Mr. Porel also gave information regarding various government schemes which can be applied by the students after their graduation or master’s degree.

Dr. Mahuya Hom Choudhury, focussed mainly on the IPR and explained why we should go for patenting instead of paper publication. She discussed the overall process of patent filing.
