A Memorable Khas Adda session with the Evergreen Khas Koushik!

This popular voice on the radio is a companion for many in their cars while travelling or at home amidst the mundane chores.

Obviously, it was a delight for Brainware University and the Department of Media Science and Journalism to host Koushik Bhattacharya alias the popular RJ Khas Koushik for a seminar titled 'Media Maestros: Navigating Broadcasting Excellence'!

Followed by a warm welcome, Bhattacharya started speaking in his unique style with his deep voice that was reminiscent of Khas Khobor, a popular news show during the 90s, for many of the faculty members and guests.

"You people are lucky that you can pursue a stream that is dedicated to Media, I am from Engineering background and whatever I learnt in Media is through my experiences," confessed a humble Khas Koushik to the students as he was recollecting his first association with the world of Media!

Like all great educators, Banerjee also hates preaching but he has his own style of informing the students what they need to do in order to become successful in this domain. "I think that you must try those things for which you were scolded at home till now," he said to the surprise of every students. "Watch movies, listen to music, read magazines, scroll through facebook. What I mean to say is that keep yourself informed and updated," he added.

And indeed, what better way to inform students that they need to explore and strengthen their weakness!
