From Vision to Virtual: A New Chapter Unfolds with Inauguration of the Virtual Laboratory

In the heart of Brainware University, a vision took shape - a vision to make world-class experiments accessible to every student, anytime, anywhere.

That vision came to life with the grand inauguration of the Virtual Laboratory, a cutting-edge facility established under the Ministry of Education’s Virtual Labs initiative.

The event was graced by none other than Dr. Nirmalya Ghosh, Associate Professor, IIT Kharagpur, and Dr. Atul Jain, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering & Outreach Coordinator, Virtual Labs, IIT KGP - who officially unlocked a new dimension in science and engineering education.

As the ceremonial ribbon was cut, excitement buzzed across campus.
Training sessions kicked off, screens lit up, and experiments once bound to physical labs became accessible 24x7 - right from students’ own devices.

Hosting the event was Dr. Soham Bachaspati from the Department of Agriculture, who passionately spoke about how Virtual Labs are reshaping hybrid learning, blending innovation, interactivity, and inclusivity in line with NEP 2020.

From now on, students and faculty will not just learn - they’ll explore, engage, and experiment like never before.

And thus began a new era…
