Recitation Recording Session organised at Multimedia Magic

On January 14, 2023, Multimedia Magic, the production house initiated by the Department of Multimedia at Brainware University, hosted a recording session for renowned recitation artist, Avik Pramanik! A professional anchor and founder of Kathamala, a school of recitation, Mr. Pramanik has been associated with the spoken word for quite a long time. Equipped with the latest technology and industry-standard facilities, the sound recording studio of the university provided him with the perfect set-up for professional recording!

Assisted by Sandip Bhattacharjee (Assistant Professor, department of Multimedia), the recording was conducted by student intern Pritam Nath. Goutam Banerjee (HoD and Assistant Professor, Department of Multimedia) and Somnath Mullick (Assistant Professor, Department of Multimedia) were also present during the recording session. These opportunities are proving to be extremely beneficial for giving our students hands-on training in sound mixing and recording. We look forward to more such mutually beneficial collaborations with Pramanik and his recitation academy!
