The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSDS), in collaboration with the Gender Sensitization Cell and the IQAC, Brainware University, organised a Poster Competition titled “From Awareness to Action: Gender Sensitization for Social Change”. The competition aimed to encourage students to creatively express ideas on gender equality, inclusivity, and social awareness through visual storytelling. Participants designed posters highlighting the importance of respect, empathy, and equal opportunity across genders. The event was coordinated by Mr. Prabir Kumar Das, with Dr. Ranadip Kundu and Dr. Suparna Panchanan serving as contact persons. Entries were accepted between August 25 and September 5, 2025, and the results were announced on September 10, 2025, at Rabindra Bhavan (UB–V), Room No. 205. The competition successfully promoted dialogue on gender sensitivity and reinforced Brainware University’s commitment to creating a respectful and inclusive campus culture, aligning with SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
