A Tribute to Care & Commitment - 5th Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony

The Institute of Nursing, Brainware University, celebrated its 5th Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony - a heartfelt homage to Florence Nightingale, on International Nurses Day.

The ceremony began with the symbolic lighting of the lamp, igniting the flame of service, compassion, and knowledge in the hearts of the future caregivers. Esteemed dignitaries, including our Honourable Chancellor Phalguni Mookhopadhayay, and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, delivered inspiring addresses to the gathering.

The event included cultural performances by students, followed by the oath taking ceremony by the budding nurses, faculty and student felicitation for outstanding service and academic excellence and finally a cake cutting ceremony to mark International Nurses Day 2025.

This powerful convergence of emotion, responsibility, and celebration reminded us that nursing is not just a profession, it is a promise to heal, comfort, and uplift.
