NPTEL Awareness Workshop organised by Brainware University 2021

Beyond the curriculum

NPTEL Awareness Workshop-I was Brainware University’s effort to encourage its students to look beyond the structured curriculum and use the numerous avenues available to gain knowledge and train themselves in the modern advancements in various academic and non-academic fields. On May 19, 2021, Mr.UttiyaBasu, SPOC-NPTEL, graced the workshop as the chief resource person, and spoke about the importance and advantages of the MOOC courses run by the government of India in developing newer skill sets in students all over the country.

Mr.Basu pointed out that NPTEL, one of the many MOOC courses run online by our government, enlists resources from the top educational institutions in our country providing students with a diverse curriculum, curriculum which they can to help develop themselves in this day and age. “NPTEL’s certification is of national repute and has an impact in procuring placements and internships,” informed Mr.Basu. Apart from this exhaustive insights intomatters related to NPTEL course enrollment process, submission of course assignments, examination process, and the certification criteria were given.

The workshop ended with the enthusiastic queries of the attending students, which were all answered patiently by the speaker.
