Together towards a safer India

To gain an insight into the natural hazards and prepare ourdelves, the Department of Management and Commerce arranged a workshop on “Disaster Management” on April 13, 2021 from 4PM. Dr. Arun Banerjee (Adjunct Professor, Brainware University) was the guest speaker for the event.

Keeping in mind the vulnerability caused due to floods, cyclones, earthquakes and other natural disasters, Bannerjee said, “it is time for us to have a better understanding of disaster management. So that we can make necessary structural changes. ”

The speaker shared various measures that we need to take to combat such disasters. “ Learn about the emergency management agencies beforehand and prepare effectively”added the speaker.

This workshop helped the students to become responsible citizens and disaster managers so that they can cope up with disasters and save lives.
