Faculty Development Programme on Emerging Trends in Humanities and Social Sciences

The Department of English and Literary Studies, Brainware University organized a Faculty Development Programme on Emerging Trends in Humanities and Social Sciences on June 20, 2022 at 10:30 AM. The event was geared towards helping the faculty members explore the new industrial and academic trends so that they in turn can serve the students better.

The morning sessions were on diasporic Canadian literature and on Publication in SCI/CARE journals. Dr. Suchorita Chattopadhyay (Professor, Department of Comparative Literature, Jadavpur University) and Dr. Dinesh Kumar Nair(Associate Professor and Head, Department of English, VG Vaze College Mumbai) were the keynote speakers for the two morning sessions.The evening sessions were on archives and feminist research prespectives. Dr. Parthasarathi Bhaumik(Professor, Department of Comparative Literature, Jadavpur University, on-lien Institute of Global Studies, Tokyo University) and Dr. Nilakshi Roy(Retired Head, Department of English, VG Vaze College, Mumbai)
