Trends for the digital generation

To make the students aware of digital humanities, the department of English and Literary Studies conducted a webinar titled “Emerging trends in Literary Studies- Digital Humanities” was conducted on June 1, 2022 from 2:3 PM. Dr. Koel Mitra (Assistant Professor of English, The Neotia University) was the key speaker of this event.

Mitra initiated the discussion by explaining what digital humanities is. She opined that “digital humanities is more of a common methodological outlook than an investment in any text or technology”. She mentioned about web 3.0 where people will be controlled by the internet. The speaker emphasized the role of the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence in digital humanities.
