Workshop on Quality Assurance

Gaining Market Knowledge

To lead the students towards a sustainable quality culture, the School of Management and Commerce, Brainware University organised a workshop on “Quality Assurance” on April 27, 2022 from 4 PM onwards. Anupam Mukherjee (Quality Assurance Manager, Ruby Hospital, Kolkata,West Bengal) spoke about different aspects of Quality Assurance and its importance in the present scenario.

This workshop was beneficial for students to understand the commitment to meet Quality Assurance goals and also how important it is to prevent and reduce risks and errors that occur to patients during provision of health care. Mukherjee enlightened the process of identifying the Quality, Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement.

The speaker also defined various quality improvement strategies and tools with practical examples. This event aimed to sensitize and bring awareness about what quality assurance is all about.“Quality assurance guarantees best quality product offerings that build trust and loyalty with customers” added the speaker. He also introduced the three different methods of quality assurance.

The workshop helped the students to understand that Quality Assurance is one of the important factors that need to be considered in the healthcare perspective. It was a fully interactive session and some students also cleared their doubts regarding this area. This was extremely useful for the students who dream to join the same area and sector.
