Creating the blueprint of success

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Workshop on Design Thinking, Critical Thinking and Innovation Design on January 29, 2022 for students to get a sense of what goes into design thinking and creating industry appropriate designs. The resource person of the event was Ankush Ghosh(Associate Professor, Neotia University) who introduced students to the intricacies of design concepts (proposals for products, buildings, machines, communications, etc.).

Mr. Chakraborty talked about the process of developing a design that meets the client’s requirements. The prototype of design needs to meet the client’s requirements in terms of the sensibilities and style advised Mr. Chakraborty. He went through some of the examples of clients requirements and compared them to the final product created.

Then Mr. Chakraborty answered career related questions and also opportunities for further research in the area. The participants reported that they were pleased with the chance to learn more about the state of the field and further career opportunities.
