Motherhood Day 2025

National Safe Motherhood Day 2025 at the Institute of Nursing, Brainware University

On the occasion of National Safe Motherhood Day 2025, the Institute of Nursing, Brainware University organised an Essay and Extempore Competition, encouraging students to critically engage with issues surrounding maternal health, dignity, and rights.

Participants explored a diverse range of topics - including safe motherhood practices, the neglect of maternal care, the importance of quality healthcare, and the transformative journey of motherhood. The event provided a platform for students to articulate their awareness and reflect on their roles as future nursing professionals.

Both competitions were conducted in a spirit of friendly exchange where faculty members evaluated the students on clarity, content, and conviction. Professor Papri Das, Principal of the Institute of Nursing, remained an encouraging presence throughout the session.
