Hands-on with Hope: MLT Students Dive into Cancer Research!

Our M.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology students from the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, took a big leap into cutting-edge cancer research! Under the mentorship of Dr. Sriparna De, they visited the lab of Prof. Arindam Bhattacharya, Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta.

From exploring apoptosis pathways to mastering Western Blotting and chemiluminescence assays, they gained real-time exposure to advanced molecular biology techniques. The session also offered insights into molecular probe designing and secondary antibody selection for precise disease diagnostics.
