The School of Law at Brainware University marked a proud moment with the launch of its publication ‘Human Rights and Sustainability: A Humane Perspective’ during the Awareness Camp and Plenary Session on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

The session began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance, and was graced by eminent dignitaries including Pratiksha Jharkharyia, IPS, Hon’ble SP of Barasat Police District; Santanu Jha, Learned District & Sessions Judge and Chairperson, DLSA, North 24 Parganas; Md. Nurjamman Khan, Secretary, DLSA, North 24 Parganas; and Vikram Banerjee, Civil Judge (Junior Division) On Probation, Barasat District Court.
