A journey into the world of fantasy

On November 26, the Department of English and Literary Studies organised a seminar on “A Critical Introduction to Fantasy Fiction.” The seminar was conducted by Dr. Prayag Ray, HOD, Department of English, St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. The session provided interesting insights into the world of fantasy fiction. The students wholly enjoyed the journey into the surreal and the fantastical!

The students got to understand how to indulge in a deeper reading of the texts of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and others in this seminar.
