The Department of Hospital Management organised a workshop on 'Improving the patient experience to build the customer loyalty' on March 4, 2023. Ashish Mukherjee, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Kolkata conducted the workshop.
Mukherjee himself comes from a very humble background. He had one dream - coming to Calcutta. He started his career as a medical representative. He shared his life experiences with the students to make them realise how they should approach the profession of Hospital Management to ensure the reliability of the patients.
"Qualification doesn't mean competency. Competency comes when knowledge and skills are put into action," he pointed out. He also pointed out 3 areas for patient satisfaction - clinical core, non-clinical core and out of hospital.
