The Institute of Nursing at Brainware University brought light to the shadows of misunderstanding at Amdanga Rural Community through a powerful Community Psychiatry Awareness Programme!

A thought-provoking role play portrayed the struggles of an 18-year-old coping with schizophrenia after a personal loss—shining a spotlight on the myths that still haunt mental health, like: 'It’s all in the mind!'; 'Evil spirits are the cause!'

The theme? ‘Breaking Misconceptions About Mental Illness’ - and our students did just that, with compassion and clarity.
