More than a religious occasion, Durga Puja is a cultural festival for the Begalis!
Durga Puja starts with the celebration of an artistic masterpiece 'Mahishasuramardini' on radio on the morning of Mahalaya! This unconventional celebration of the Mother Goddess provides the opportunities to individuals to take a break from their daily chores and pursue their passion.
Our student Chandrei Nayak from the Department of Media Science and Journalism took her art to the newspaper this time. She captured a brilliant snap of Mother Goddess in the making that made it to the Sunday edition of t2!
