Agriculture Study Tour

The Department of Agriculture successfully conducted a study tour for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kalyan, affiliated to Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Lokasiksha Parishad, Narendrapur.

This enriching field visit to the Purulia region offered the students a hands-on learning experience where they explored the unique agro-climatic conditions of the area, studied local cropping systems and farming practices, and gained valuable insights into rural livelihood patterns. The tour also exposed them to innovative agricultural technologies being adopted to tackle climatic challenges, making it a truly immersive and eye-opening academic journey.
