The West Bengal Government has launched the Student's Credit Card Scheme, a scheme that is offering a loan of up to 10 lakh rupees that can be repaid in 15 years. It is generally offering the students who are pursuing education The students can be from any recognized school, madrasah, college, university or higher educational institutions within the State, outside Bengal, and even in other countries. - Class X (Ten) and above
- Higher Secondary
- UG
- PG
- Professional and Diploma course
- Doctoral/Post-Doctoral research course
The students can be from any recognized school, madrasah, college, university or higher
educational institutions within the State, outside Bengal, and even in other countries.
- Eligibility Criteria for Availing the Scheme:
- Living in West Bengal for more than 10 Years in total
- Have to be a student of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral study (be it in India or Abroad)
- Available till the age of 40
- Students preparing IITs, IIMs, NLUs, IAS, IPS, WBSC can also get the facilities
