BBA MBA students attend Digital Marketing workshop
At Brainware University, the School of Management & Commerce is determined to enhance the employ-ability skills of the students. Recently, it organised an online workshop on ‘Digital Marketing’ for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year batches of BBA, BBA (DM), B.Com, MBA and BBA (HM).
Debajyoti Banerjee and Biplab Das, Founder and Joint CEO of Seven Boats Academy were the speakers at the event. The speakers spoke about the common digital marketing initiatives for distributing a brand message through search engines, social media, applications, emails and websites.
BBA MBA courses at Brainware University
In this context, it must be noted that Brainware University offers BBA and also specialised courses like BBA in Hospital Management (HM) and BBA in Digital Marketing (DM). Master of Business Administration (MBA) and MBA in Hospital Management (HM) are also being offered. The BBA and MBA courses are offered at a very reasonable fee structure in comparison to the other Management colleges.
Furthermore, the Department of Management and Commerce has entered into academic collaborations with Livingstone College, North Carolina, USA and Sichuan University of Technology and Management, China. Due to these collaborations, the students will be able to take part in student exchange programmes and will be able to attend the webinars and special lecture sessions from those universities.
Digital Marketing: Things one must know
At the recent workshop on ‘Digital Marketing’, the speakers discussed that digital marketing often focuses on reaching a customer with increasingly conversion-oriented messages across multiple channels as they move down the sales funnel. Ideally, marketing teams should be able to track the role of each of these messages and/or channels in reaching their ultimate goal.
The workshop benefitted the students by helping them to understand the cognitive knowledge of the skills required in conducting online research and research on online markets, as well as in identifying, assessing and selecting digital marketing opportunities.
These seminars and special sessions help the students to gain industrial exposure. In the long run, this will help them to secure a placement in one of the reputed industries. In 2021, the university recorded 98% placement. The placement for the current academic session in 2022 is going on in full swing and more than 500 students have already been placed.
