World Mental Health Day Celebration

World Mental Health Day Celebration 12-10-2026 Psychology Mononiketan

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY AT BRAINWARE UNIVERSITY : Some messages
are painted. Some emotions are danced. And some conversations can change the way we
understand mental health.
This World Mental Health Day, the Department of Psychology, in association with
Mononiketan at Brainware University, brought awareness to life through the power of art,
movement and self-expression.
The poster-making competition encouraged students to express mental health messages
through art, challenge stigma and spark meaningful conversations, while an energetic dance
performance kick-started the event, celebrating self-expression, connection and emotional
well-being.
Through initiatives like these, Brainware University encourages students to look beyond the
visible, understand the emotions beneath the surface and build a campus culture where
seeking support is welcomed, not stigmatised.
Because World Mental Health Day is more than a day of awareness—it’s a reminder to listen
without judgement, support without hesitation and make mental well-being a priority every day.
