World Entrepreneurs’ Day-Empowering Future Entrepreneurs: Innovation, AI, and Sustainable Business for a Viksit Bharat Management Institutions Innovation Council 21.08.2026
The Department of Management, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organised the seminar “Empowering Future Entrepreneurs: Innovation, AI, and Sustainable Business for a Viksit Bharat” on the occasion of World Entrepreneurship Day on 21st August 2026 at Seminar Hall, Vidyasagar Bhavan (Building II–007). The programme aimed to inspire students to explore entrepreneurship, innovation, Artificial Intelligence, and sustainable business practices as drivers of economic growth and development. Guest speaker Mr. Arjun Dutta, Founder & Product Architect of IQApex Labs, shared valuable insights into AI-driven entrepreneurship, product development, innovation, and emerging opportunities for young entrepreneurs. The interactive session explored how students could identify business opportunities, transform ideas into viable products, leverage emerging technologies, and incorporate sustainability into business models while addressing contemporary social and economic challenges. With the participation of 180 students, the programme encouraged innovative thinking, entrepreneurial awareness, continuous learning, and an entrepreneurial mindset, while strengthening the connection between academic learning and contemporary industry practices and contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
