VISIT TO THE SPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA (KOLKATA) Law 29.06.2026
The School of Law at Brainware University organized an educational visit to the Sports Authority of India for students enrolled in the Certificate Course on Sports Law. The visit offered participants valuable practical exposure to the functioning of a premier national sports institution and its role in athlete development.
During the visit, students interacted with SAI officials, sports physicians, and staff to gain insights into sports administration, athlete welfare, and the legal and regulatory aspects of sports. They also explored world-class training facilities, the Department of Sports Science, and learned about performance analysis, injury management, rehabilitation, nutrition, anti-doping measures, and national initiatives such as Khelo India and Fit India.
The visit successfully bridged classroom learning with real-world practice, enhancing students’ understanding of sports governance, sports science, and athlete support systems while providing meaningful insights into the interdisciplinary nature of sports law.
