
Together For Health: Free Health Checkup Camp Allied Health Sciences with Billion Hearts Beating, & Apollo Foundation 13-01-2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences Brainware University, in collaboration with Billion Hearts Beating, Apollo Foundation, successfully conducted a community outreach programme titled “Together For Health: Free Health Checkup Camp” on 13 January 2026 at Vivekananda Sangathan, Kataganj, Bedibhawan, Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal.
Held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the camp aimed to promote preventive healthcare and early detection of health concerns among the local population. The initiative focused on ECG screening and physiotherapy support, addressing cardiovascular health and musculoskeletal well-being—two critical yet often overlooked aspects of community health.
The outreach witnessed active participation from beneficiaries across different age groups. Qualified professionals and trained volunteers ensured systematic screening, personalized guidance, and basic health awareness, reinforcing the importance of timely diagnosis and lifestyle modification. The physiotherapy support provided practical interventions and ergonomic advice, enhancing mobility and quality of life for many attendees.
This impactful initiative strongly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health & Well-Being, reaffirming our commitment to accessible, inclusive, and preventive healthcare for all.
