Three Days’ Workshop on Hands-on Training on Advanced Instrumentation Pharmaceutical Technology 11.08.2026 to 13.08.2026
The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Brainware University, in collaboration with Aspire Scientific and Chromogen Bionourish Pvt. Ltd., organized a three-day workshop on “Hands-on Training on Advanced Instrumentation” from 11th to 13th August 2026. The workshop, themed “Bridging Theory and Practice in Advanced Analytical Instrumentation,” was designed to provide B.Pharm 7th Semester students of Sections A and B with practical exposure to advanced analytical instruments used in pharmaceutical analysis, quality control, and research. The programme aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, familiarize students with instrumental techniques, and enhance their confidence and technical competence in handling analytical instruments.
The workshop featured extensive hands-on training and demonstrations across three days. Day 1 covered HPLC and FT-IR, including their principles, operation, pharmaceutical applications, and practical analysis. Day 2 focused on HPTLC and Gel Electrophoresis, providing students with practical exposure to sample application, separation techniques, and analytical procedures. Day 3 included hands-on training in UV–Visible Spectroscopy, along with discussions on instrument calibration and validation, followed by an assessment session. The workshop concluded with a valedictory session where Certificates of Completion were presented to the participants and Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the resource persons. Overall, the programme successfully strengthened students’ practical understanding of advanced analytical techniques and enhanced their readiness for pharmaceutical quality control, research, and industry-oriented applications.
