The Communication Club of Brainware University organized the Students’ Theatre / Street Play (Nukkad Natak) Competition on the theme “Silence Enables Ragging.” The event aimed to spread awareness against the social menace of ragging and to encourage students to voice their thoughts on building a respectful and harmonious campus environment.
The primary objective of the event was to boost students’ self-confidence, creativity, and spontaneity by enabling them to present their perspectives through live dramatic performances. Students, both individually and in groups, delivered powerful and engaging street plays that effectively communicated the message of standing up against ragging. Their performances not only showcased artistic expression but also resonated deeply with the audience, creating a strong sense of collective responsibility and awareness.
The event concluded on a positive and inspiring note. Students expressed great enthusiasm and gratitude for the platform provided by the Communication Club, which allowed them to perform, connect, and raise awareness on such a crucial issue. The initiative not only enhanced their public-speaking and performance skills but also strengthened peer relationships, fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and mutual understanding across the campus.
