Brainware University, along with the NSS Unit I, organized an awareness screening programme titled “Street Paws Awareness Screening” on 6 April 2026. The programme was aimed at sensitizing students to responsible stray dog management and encouraging greater awareness of their role and responsibilities towards animals and the community. As part of the initiative, participating students were introduced to key aspects of stray dog management through an awareness-oriented screening session.
A total of 39 university students participated in the programme. An awareness video on stray dog management was screened to provide participants with relevant information and encourage responsible and informed practices. The programme successfully enhanced students’ awareness of stray dog management and helped them understand their responsibilities towards promoting a safe, compassionate, and responsible community environment.
