“ROAD SAFETY WEEK – Drawing and Quiz” Fit India Club BARASAT POLICE STATION 07-08-2026
Brainware University participated in the Road Safety Week 2026 awareness activities organised by Barasat Police Station under Barasat Police District on 7 August 2026 at Rabindra Bhavan, Barasat. The initiative aimed to promote responsible road use and strengthen road safety awareness among young people. Approximately 28 students from different batches, accompanied by faculty members, participated in the Sit & Draw Competition and Quiz Competition, providing them with opportunities to engage with road safety themes through creative and knowledge-based activities.
The programme enhanced students’ awareness of road safety and traffic rules while encouraging responsible behaviour as road users. It also provided a platform for students to communicate road safety messages through art and active participation, while strengthening community engagement between Brainware University and Barasat Police District. The initiative reinforced the message of “Safe Roads, Responsible Citizens and Saving Lives.”
