Agriculture Institution’s Innovation Council 21-08-2025
The Department of Agriculture, Brainware University, organized a seminar titled “Prospects of Freshers in the Indian Seed Industry” on 21 August 2025 at Vidyasagar Bhavan, Seminar Hall. The session aimed to familiarize agriculture students with career opportunities, seed breeding, production systems, industry challenges, and required professional skills.
The expert lecture by Dr. Subhrajyoti Saha, Junior Breeder (Gourds) and Station Manager, Indo American Hybrid Seeds (India) Pvt. Ltd., provided practical industry insights and encouraged interaction between students and the resource person. Around 150 undergraduate students and 14 faculty members participated.
The seminar strengthened industry-academia interaction, enhanced students’ awareness of career pathways, and contributed towards making agriculture graduates more industry-ready and employable.
