Panel Discussion on Innovation and the Startup
Ecosystem: Enablers from Regional, State, and National Levels Law 08.08.2026
The School of Law, Brainware University, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a Panel Discussion on “Innovation and the Startup Ecosystem: Enablers from Regional, State, and National Levels” on 8 August 2026 at the Building II, Auditorium Hall, Brainware University. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the evolving startup ecosystem and the regional, state, and national-level mechanisms supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable business development. Distinguished resource persons, Mr. Hansraj Jaria, Practising Company Secretary, Registered Valuer – SFA and Insolvency Professional, and Dr. Anupurba Banerjee, Co-founder, Talent Synergy Solutions, shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, regulatory frameworks, business development, professional opportunities, and institutional support for emerging entrepreneurs. The session sought to bridge theoretical learning with practical knowledge and encouraged students to explore innovation and entrepreneurship as potential career pathways.
The panel discussion featured interactive exchanges on startup development, business opportunities, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, professional support, market requirements, and sustainable business models. The resource persons highlighted the roles of educational institutions, government agencies, professional bodies, industry stakeholders, mentors, investors, and entrepreneurs in strengthening the startup ecosystem. Students actively participated through questions and discussions, gaining practical insights into the opportunities and challenges associated with establishing and scaling ventures. The programme successfully promoted an innovation-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset while emphasizing collaboration, skill development, responsible entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth. The initiative contributed to the objectives of SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
