Outreach Activity: Old Age Home, Badu Nursing 06-06-2026 to 13-06-2026
The Institute of Nursing, Brainware University, organized an Outreach Programme at Badu Shivanandalaya Old Age Home on 6 June 2026. The initiative aimed to provide students with practical exposure to geriatric care while promoting the health and well-being of older adults.
The programme included geriatric health assessments, health education, and recreational interactions with the residents. Students gained valuable insights into the healthcare needs of the elderly while developing their communication, interpersonal, and community health nursing skills. The initiative successfully combined experiential learning with meaningful community engagement.
