One-Day Industrial Exposure Program at Sundarban Chemicals Private Limited Electrical Engineering 10-10-2026
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Brainware University, organised a one-day industrial exposure programme at Sundarban Chemicals Private Limited, Tulshighata, Nimpith, Joynagar-II, West Bengal, on 10 October 2026. The programme aimed to familiarise B.Tech Electrical Engineering students with the practical applications of electrical engineering principles in a chemical manufacturing environment. Students gained exposure to industrial power distribution, electrical machines, motors, transformers, control systems, automation, instrumentation, and process monitoring.
The programme also highlighted the importance of electrical protection systems, preventive maintenance, industrial safety, power quality, and energy management. Interaction with industry professionals provided insights into workplace practices, technical competencies, and career opportunities in the chemical industry. Overall, the initiative helped connect classroom learning with industrial applications, enhanced students’ professional awareness, and supported SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by promoting industry–academia collaboration.
