The Department of Mononiketan, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), organized a Mental Wellbeing Awareness Programme on 3 July 2026 at HUM NGO, Topsia, Kolkata. The programme focused on promoting mental health and emotional well-being among adolescent students, with particular emphasis on examination stress, emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy coping strategies.

The session encouraged students to recognize signs of stress and emotional difficulties and adopt positive approaches to managing academic and personal challenges. It also aimed to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and promote greater awareness, acceptance, and constructive problem-solving among adolescents.

The programme successfully enhanced students’ awareness of mental well-being and equipped them with practical strategies for managing stress and developing resilience.
