Inter college Coding Competition Instan-C-8 CSE-CS & DS 15-09-2026
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering – Cyber Security & Data Science (CSE–CS & DS), in association with the Brainware ACM Student Chapter, organised INSTAN-C-8, an inter-college coding competition, on 15 September 2026. The event provided a competitive platform for students from different colleges to demonstrate their programming skills, logical reasoning, algorithmic proficiency, and problem-solving abilities. Participants were given three hours to solve two coding problems on HackerRank, encouraging practical application of computational knowledge, healthy competition, and peer learning.
Kreative Machinez sponsored the prizes for the competition, with its representatives interacting with participants and sharing insights into IT industry career opportunities and the importance of consistent coding practice. The top three teams—Palak Paneer (First Prize), Byte Coders (Second Prize), and CtrlC+CtrlV (Third Prize)—were recognised by the judging panel. Overall, INSTAN-C-8 strengthened students’ technical and problem-solving skills while fostering a culture of competitive programming and promoting meaningful industry–academia interaction.
