The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Brainware University, organised a seminar titled “Intelligent Wealth Management: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Smart Financial Solutions” on 26 August 2026 for B.Com and M.Com students. The session was led by Mr. Somraj Dutta, Faculty, American Academy of Financial Management, and focused on the growing application of Artificial Intelligence in finance and wealth management, including investment decision-making, portfolio management, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
The seminar provided students with valuable insights into emerging trends and opportunities in AI-driven financial services. Through expert interaction and discussion, participants developed greater awareness of FinTech, data analytics, digital finance, and technology-enabled financial solutions. The programme successfully connected academic learning with contemporary industry developments while promoting future-ready skills and supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
