Industry Visit to Galaxy Hospital, Barrackpore
The Department of Hospital Management organized an Industry Visit to Galaxy Hospital, Barrackpore, on 3 September 2026 for the BBAHM 2026 Batch – 1st Year students.
The visit provided students with practical exposure to hospital infrastructure, departmental functioning, patient-care services and administrative operations. Students observed hospital workflows, interacted with hospital personnel and gained insights into day-to-day healthcare management practices.
The visit helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world hospital practices, while enhancing students’ understanding of teamwork, communication and patient-centred care. The programme contributed to experiential learning and professional development in hospital management.
