Industry Visit on “Next-Gen Programming” Computer Science & Engineering 09-04-2026

The Computer Science and Engineering departments organized an industry visit on “Next-Gen Programming” to provide students with exposure to emerging technologies shaping the future of software development. The visit highlighted how AI-driven development, low-code platforms, and modern architectures are transforming the tech landscape while contributing to Sustainable Development Goals such as Quality Education (SDG 4), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12).

During the visit, students gained insights into AI-augmented development, microservices, serverless computing, and DevOps practices. Interactive sessions, including AI pair-programming demonstrations, CI/CD pipeline walkthroughs, and discussions on ethical AI, helped bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry practices. Participants also explored concepts like prompt engineering, green coding, and collaborative agile workflows, enhancing their understanding of future-ready skills.

Overall, the visit provided valuable industry exposure, enabling students to understand the shift from traditional coding to intelligent solution design. It emphasized the importance of innovation, sustainability, and ethical responsibility in technology, preparing students to adapt to the evolving demands of the digital ecosystem.
