Industry Visit cum Workshop at IIT Kharagpur on POC diagnosis prototype and chip fabrication Allied Health Sciences 27-04-2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University successfully organized a one-day Industry Visit cum Workshop at IIT Kharagpur on POC Diagnosis Prototype and Chip Fabrication to provide students with practical exposure to advanced biomedical diagnostics and microfabrication technologies.
Conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Gorachand Dutta, Assistant Professor, SMST, IIT Kharagpur, the workshop introduced students to Point-of-Care (POC) diagnostic systems, lab-on-chip technologies, biosensor development, and chip fabrication processes. Participants also explored advanced laboratories and research facilities, gaining valuable insights into biomedical innovation and translational research.
Aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education, the initiative successfully bridged academic learning with industrial practices, enhanced technical knowledge, and encouraged research-oriented learning in healthcare diagnostics and biomedical engineering.
