Industry visit at Calcutta Medical Research Institute Hospital Management 28-09-2026
The Department of Hospital Management organised an industry visit to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) on 28 September 2026 for BBAHM 2026 Batch – 1st Year students. The visit provided practical exposure to hospital infrastructure, departmental functions, patient-care services, and administrative operations. Students observed various hospital departments and workflows, interacted with hospital personnel, and gained insights into day-to-day healthcare management practices. The visit helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application while enhancing students’ understanding of teamwork, communication, coordination, and patient-centred care. Overall, the programme promoted experiential learning and strengthened students’ professional knowledge and career awareness in hospital management, supporting SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
