Industrial Visit to Manipal Hospital, Saltlake HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT 26.09.2026
The Department of Hospital Management organised an industry visit to Manipal Hospital, Salt Lake, on 26 September 2026 for BBAHM 2026 Batch – 1st Year students. The visit provided students with practical exposure to hospital infrastructure, departmental functions, patient-care services, and healthcare operations. Students observed various hospital departments, workflows, and patient-care processes and interacted with hospital personnel to understand day-to-day management practices. The visit helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications while enhancing students’ understanding of teamwork, communication, and patient-centred care. Overall, the programme promoted experiential learning and strengthened students’ professional knowledge and career awareness in hospital management, supporting SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
