Industrial Visit to Health Pillar Hospital

Industrial Visit to Health Pillar Hospital Hospital Management 07-10-2026

The Department of Hospital Management, Brainware University, organised an industry visit to Health Pillar Hospital on 7 October 2026 for the BBAHM 2026 Batch – 1st Year students. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to hospital infrastructure, healthcare operations, patient-care services, and administrative functions. Students explored various hospital departments and service areas, observed patient-care processes, and learned about coordination among departments. Interactions with hospital personnel helped them understand day-to-day hospital operations and management practices, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world healthcare applications.

The visit enhanced students’ understanding of hospital administration, teamwork, communication, and patient-centred care. It also strengthened their professional knowledge and career orientation in hospital management by connecting classroom learning with practical experience. The programme promoted experiential learning in alignment with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and highlighted the importance of healthcare infrastructure and industry practices in supporting SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).
