Health Wave (Health Camp)

Health Wave (Health Camp) Nursing 07-04-2026

The Department of Allied Health Sciences at Brainware University organized “Health Wave” on April 7, 2026, as a community wellness initiative aimed at promoting preventive healthcare, neurological well-being, and health awareness. Designed as an engaging outreach programme, the event combined health assessments, educational activities, and interactive sessions to encourage a holistic approach to wellness.

The programme featured general health assessments, neurological screening sessions, role-play activities, and demonstrations on bandaging and first aid, providing participants with valuable knowledge and practical healthcare skills. Interactive engagements helped raise awareness about cognitive health, healthy lifestyle practices, and the importance of maintaining a balance between physical fitness and mental well-being.

Aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), the initiative successfully fostered health literacy, community participation, and proactive healthcare awareness. By integrating medical screening with educational outreach, Health Wave served as an effective platform for promoting holistic wellness and strengthening community engagement.
