Health Awareness Programme and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in association with Red Cross Pharmaceutical Technology IRCS
25.08.2026
The programme was organised to create awareness about common health issues and preventive healthcare practices while educating participants about cardiac arrest, its causes, warning signs, and immediate management. It aimed to provide participants with basic knowledge and practical training in CPR techniques, develop confidence and preparedness to respond effectively during medical emergencies, and emphasise the importance of timely intervention and seeking professional medical assistance.
The programme enabled participants to develop a better understanding of preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyle practices, and common health risks. They gained knowledge about cardiac arrest, its warning signs, and the importance of immediate intervention, along with basic practical knowledge and hands-on experience in performing CPR using a mannequin. The practical demonstration and supervised practice further enhanced their confidence and preparedness to respond appropriately during emergency situations.
